| NEW YORK (JFK) FLIGHTS CHECK-IN CLOSING TIME CHANGED
June 10, 2010 - We would like to inform you that the TSA and JFK International Airline Terminal (JFKIAT) are currently replacing and upgrading luggage security scanning machines located at all check-in counters at Terminal Four.
During the installation period, additional time will be required to process your clients' checked baggage. As such, please advise your clients that the flight closure time for SQ25 (JFK/FRA/SIN) has been moved forward by 20 minutes. To ensure that passengers' luggage arrives with them at their final destination, it is essential that all bags are checked in no later than 60 minutes prior to flight departure.
We anticipate that the new equipment will be installed and fully operational by July 31, 2010, at which time we plan to revert to our standard procedure of closing the flight 40 minutes prior to scheduled departure time.
Thank you for your ensuring that your clients are aware of this temporary, new 60-minute check-in deadline for SQ25 to FRA and SIN. We appreciate your continued support and partnership.
